Jackie Johnson serves as the Grants Coordinator for the Arkansas Minority Health Commission, bringing more than 25 years of state experience and a deep commitment to improving community health outcomes.
Originally from Pocahontas, Arkansas, Jackie has called Little Rock home for over 35 years. She earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where she studied Health Education with an emphasis in Community Health and later received her Master of Arts in Adult Education.
Throughout her career, Jackie has remained passionate about serving others and strengthening communities through education, outreach, and resource development. Outside of her professional work, she is a proud mother of two daughters and is excited to soon become a first-time grandmother.
