T-Birds Against Drugs is a youth-focused prevention program supported by CrossRidge Community Hospital through the Cross County Hometown Health Coalition (CCHHC) and its “Youth for Health” initiative. Rooted in the mission to reduce and prevent the harms of alcohol and drug use among youth in Cross County, these programs align with the Drug-Free Communities Support Program by strengthening community collaboration and promoting substance-free lifestyles.
Through school-based prevention efforts, T-Birds Against Drugs empowers students to take an active role in creating a healthier community. The program focuses on education around underage drinking and prescription drug misuse, while building leadership skills and encouraging positive peer influence. By partnering with schools, families, businesses, and community organizations, the initiative works to expand prevention resources, increase youth engagement in drug-free activities, and reduce access to harmful substances.
This program fosters a culture of awareness, responsibility, and opportunity—equipping young people with the knowledge, support, and confidence to choose a drug-free future.
