Changes Behavioral Health is a community-based mental health and addiction treatment provider serving individuals and families in Wynne, Cross County, and communities throughout the Arkansas Delta and Eastern Arkansas. Since 2013, the organization has worked to provide compassionate, patient-centered care that recognizes each person as an individual—not simply a diagnosis.
With a team of licensed, certified, and highly trained professionals, Changes Behavioral Health provides a range of services designed to support mental, emotional, and behavioral well-being. Services include individual counseling, family and marriage counseling, addiction treatment, psychiatric and medication services, and other evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Treatment plans are developed collaboratively and tailored to each client's unique needs, challenges, and goals.
Changes Behavioral Health serves individuals of all ages and provides support for a variety of mental health and behavioral concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, alcohol and substance use, relationship challenges, and addiction. Its approach emphasizes creating a safe and compassionate environment where individuals and families can seek help, develop healthier coping strategies, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
Accessibility is also an important part of the organization's commitment to the community. Changes Behavioral Health serves patients regardless of their ability to pay, offers discounted services to those who qualify based on family size and income, and accepts a variety of insurance programs, including Medicaid and Medicare.
At the heart of Changes Behavioral Health is a strong connection to the community it serves. Its staff brings decades of combined experience across mental health, education, inpatient and outpatient treatment, community service organizations, group homes, and substance abuse treatment settings.
Messenger House Recovery is an addiction treatment center in Wynne, Arkansas, dedicated to providing compassionate, accessible support for individuals seeking recovery from substance use and addiction. A branch of Changes Behavioral Health, Messenger House combines professional treatment with lived experience to create an environment centered on healing, understanding, and hope.
Its Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) allows individuals to receive structured treatment and support while continuing to maintain work, family, and other daily responsibilities. The program incorporates evidence-based practices, peer support, spirituality, the 12-step model, and guidance from licensed professionals—meeting individuals where they are and helping them build a strong foundation for long-term recovery.
Messenger House Recovery is also an Arkansas Opioid Recovery Partnership (ARORP) partner, supporting efforts to address the impact of opioid and substance use within the local community.
At its core, Messenger House believes that recovery is possible and that no one should have to navigate the journey alone.
Brian is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (LADAC) who serves as CEO of Changes Behavioral Health and Director of Messenger House. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Philosophy from Arkansas State University in 2002 and a Master of Clinical Social Work from the University of Tennessee in 2007.
Throughout his work, Brian draws from both his clinical expertise and his own lived experience in recovery. His personal journey gives him a unique understanding of the challenges individuals and families may face as they navigate addiction, treatment, and long-term recovery. He uses those experiences to connect with others, reduce stigma, and share the knowledge and hope he has gained along the way.
For Brian, his work also carries a meaningful family legacy. He is grateful for the opportunity to serve the community from the same office where his father once touched the lives of so many others, continuing that spirit of service through the work being done today at Changes Behavioral Health.
